Emily must have known something was going on this afternoon, because she had a heck of a time sleeping. The swing couldn't get her to sleep. The paci couldn't get her to sleep. The swing and the paci TOGETHER couldn't even get her to sleep!
Despite not really napping, she did awesome at her doctors appointment today! She had to go in for a re-check to make sure her UTI was officially gone. With her being so little, the only way to get a urine sample was to cath her. Yuck!! I felt so bad for her, but she truly did awesome!!! The room we were in had a ceiling tile with an ocean scene on it. She was mesmerized!! :) She stared at that most of the time and only cried a little when the catheter was in. She did soooooo much better than I expected!
And more good news--the initial test showed that her UTI is gone!! :) Her doctor sent it to be cultured, so we'll know for sure in a few days. Hopefully it's gone and never returns!!
