The boys started w/a big wheel race!
We ate some pizza, Kade did some football kicking, and then we moved on to soccer!
Then we headed to the pond to do some canoeing!
While we were waiting in line, Kaden ran in a kid's race around the pond.

The boy in front of Kade stopped to walk frequently, but whenever Kade would catch up to him he'd take off again. Afraid to get beat by a 5yr old. :)

Here are a couple pics just to give you an idea of how far he ran. I was impressed that he pretty much ran the whole way. I think he stopped to walk once, but that didn't last long. He was exhausted, but did great!

Then we moved on to tennis. Josh and I were both pretty impressed w/how well Kaden did!

After tennis we headed to the water fights put on by the Fire Dept.
The kids got to use the fire hoses for the water fight!

Here is silly Cam when we got home. He's got his beach ball that we got at the Play Day and in his shirt is the squirrel he got from McD's earlier in the day. LOL
It was a great evening! The kids got to try out all kinds of sports and new things. Their were a bunch of other activities that we didn't even get to. Can't wait to do it again next year!!

Wow that looks like a super cool thing for your town to do!! I wish Madison did something like that. They are too Liberal here to do anything cool like that tho. LOL! Great pics Brandy!
Well Stacie maybe you just need to come to ankeny next year since we aren't so liberal!!! lol looks like kade will become a great runner like his aunt megan!!! lol looks like a fun day:-D
