Last week Kaden finished up his 2wks of swimming lessons. As usual, the weather cooled off and became rainy just as it was time for them to start. Seems to happen every year. Kade couldn't have cared less, though. :) He was just happy to be back in the pool!
Testing the waters...
Kaden was in Level II this year and really came a long way! He does really well with the front float and crawl (which was hard for him last year).
Front Float
Last year he had a lot of trouble swimming on his back at all. He's still not 100% at it, but is doing MUCH better!
Back Float
On the last day, the kids get to go wherever they want in the pool--slides, lily pads, etc. Kade looks forward to this every year!

Lily Pads
So, unfortunately, it seems that Kaden got my swimming genes. LOL He's still having trouble with the back float and crawl, as well as turning from front to back and holding it long enough. Sooooo, next year he'll be doing Level II again. The best part? He coudn't care less! He just loves that he's learning to be a better swimmer and having fun!

Oh our swimming genes r amazing! At least he likes swimming so hopefully will have it learned!
