Two Weeks

It's hard to believe that our little Emily Lynn is already 2wks old! Well, technically 2wks and 1day today. :) Sometimes it seems like she's barely been with us, and other times it feels like she's been here forever!

Emily had her 2wk check up today. In the words of the doctor "She's perfect!" As if we didn't already know that. :) Here is a line up of her weight checks:

Birth--8lbs 14.5oz
1wk--8lbs 11oz
10days--8lbs 14.9oz (back up to birth weight!!!)
15days--9lbs 5oz

Obviously, eating is not a problem anymore! LOL She's eating 3-4oz every 3-3.5hrs. Definitely an improvement from the 1/2oz we'd struggle to get her to eat in the hospital! She has also grown from 21.5" at birth to 21 2/3" at 15days.

Emily sleeps in 3hr cycles pretty much day and night. She does usually have 2 longer stretches of awake time each day--1 in the morning and 1 in the evening. She's such a content little thing! She'll just look around and take everything in during those times. She loves to look at and listen to her brothers--who, of course, love to entertain her!

Basically, the doctor was right--she's just perfect!!! :)
