Trip to MO

A few weeks ago we took a family trip to MO! Our first day we took the boys to Oceans of Fun in Kansas City. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pics--it was just too much of a pain to haul my camera around and keep track of it. Their were several different water play areas that we visited and the boys loved them. Cam especially liked the water slide that was a frog--you slid down his tongue! LOL Kaden was tall enough that he was able to ride some of the big water slides w/Daddy! Needless to say, they both had a blast and were worn out from the day!

Here they are riding the luggage cart when we checked out the next day. It IS tradition! On Day 2 we drove up to St. Joe to see Josh's family. We went to lunch at McDonald's with Josh's mom and her boyfriend. After lunch we went miniature golfing (while Cam had meltdown after meltdown) and enjoyed root beer floats! Finally, we went to Krug Park where the boys played their hearts out! :)

Next are some pics from the area of Krug Park that we were in. From the looks of it, it had to have been beautiful in it's day! This is the playground the boys played on. It was older, but so cool! The red pole you see right in the middle actually had a ladder inside of it, and you could climb to the top. Kade thought this was cool!

Cam was afraid of the steps, so Daddy helped him out. Once he figured out that he could hold the bottom rail instead of the top he became a pro at climbing up on his own!

That night we spent the night at Papa Baxter's new house! It was a looooooooooooong night. Ask Cam! The next day we got to visit w/Great Grandma and Papa Baxter, Lisa & Steve, AND Papa & Jeannie. Aunt Lori and cousin Joey also showed up shortly before we left that day. Somehow, I managed to not get a single picture of any of them!
