Before we started the fireworks, Kade was running around trying to catch lightning bugs.

Day 1 we shot off some fireworks...then got a visit from a very nice police officer. :) So, we decided to save the rest for the following night. :)

DAY 2Kaden really liked doing the sparklers. Josh and I didn't think they were very good, but they sure kept Kade entertained!

After sparklers, it was time for more trampoline fun!!! Cam hasn't been that into it lately, because he prefers to jump alone. And he NEVER jumps at the same time as Kaden, so this was a HUGE deal! They had so much fun!

And, in case you were wondering, Cam still does not like fireworks. He let us know loudly and clearly!! We shot off one thing at Josh's tent and Cam proceeded to cry, scream, and bury his face in my chest. Then when we did them at home, we started w/some quiet stuff. I thought it was just the noise that bothered him...nope he hated it all! I finally took him inside, laid him on the couch, and started a show for him while we watched our fireworks w/the neighbors. He was MUCH happier then! The 2nd night he didn't even want to be out there once we moved from sparklers to fireworks. Poor boy! Little does he know that we will be subjecting him to them again Sunday during the Summer Fest fireworks. LOL
