No Pretties!

Cam has started calling all fireworks--or lights in the sky of any kind--pretties. Sunday was the last night of Summer Fest and we went out to see the fireworks. Cam kept pointing out pretties all over the place. LOL He'd say, "Brandy! Pretties!" (Yes, Brandy...not Mommy.) When I asked him if we were going to watch the pretties he said "No!" and put his face in the blanket! LOL

He still doesn't love fireworks, but he's getting better. :) It was actually a good thing we took him that night. Cam has had several really bad bouts of croup, and he'd started up again Friday night. Adding major snottiness on Saturday. I was worried about him being sick when we went to Iowa City on Monday. Well, the cool night air did him a lot of good! He's still got the cold and some coughing, but doesn't sound croupy anymore! So, subjecting him to fireworks once again was a good thing! LOL
